Panel number 45 is underway

This update came from Stephanie of the Nurses' Memorial Chapel, Canterbury who has been involved with the organisation of the exhibition at Canterbury Museum. We also have a photo of the 45th panel which was started at Papakura but has now moved to Canterbury.

"There has been a steady stream of people in to view the Mt Felix tapestry over the last week with very positive comments.

I have also had an interesting email from a person who went to see the Tapestry.

Catherine McKenzie who is the daughter in law of Clutha McKenzie, who the 45th panel is being stitched about.

We are organising for her to do some stitching on the panel, which she is very excited about.

Catherine has been twice to see the Mt Felix Tapestry exhibition at the museum and is very impressed" (Stephanie Cook)

It is lovely to see the story continuing.. who knows, when we get to the end of this one, perhaps we will have time to do a 46th before the end of the tour... I can think of a few stories and I know Andrew is keen to do another for Dunedin!
